Strobing and highlight tutorial

You may have noticed that those chiseled cheek bones and highlighted facial features have been popping up everywhere. The contouring technique is certainly a trend that’s not making its exit anytime soon. But if contouring doesn’t come naturally and the thought of painting on features isn’t your thing, then today’s your lucky day because we’ve found a new way of making those gorgeous features pop – enter “strobing”.

Instead of darkening areas to create an illusion of structured features (contouring), “strobing” is using a highlighter to bring out the natural bone structure of the face.

Today my friend turned fellow blogger Erin Nicole is showing us how to master the anti-contouring technique.
