Chocolate covered marshmallows

If chestnuts roasting on an open fire signals Christmas than marshmallows roasting on an open fire is a sure sign of fall, and when that’s not feasible, then you call in the chocolate. Although this beautiful season of harvest isn’t widely celebrated in the UK, it’s no reason to pack up and skip this holiday altogether. So today we bring you a remix to the traditional caramel covered apple, meet the decadent +  utterly delicious marshmallow pop.

Think crumbled oreo chunks, gold dusted sugar bits, pearly white sugar drops, an orange + black sprinkle selection, a minced nut variety and a variety of colored sugar dust.

Simply slip the marshmallow on a cake pop stick, drown in melted chocolate of your choice and garnish with the sweetest accessories.

This sweet treat can make for the perfect excuse to set up a marshmallow bar and invite the girls around for spiced apple cider + a little fall fete. Or they can be wrapped up in a bundle of cellophane and adorned with a bow and you’ve got yourself a treat for the neighbor or work colleague.

However you decide to commemorate this season, remember to give thanks to those near and far + share an extra dose of love to those you hold dear. Remember to keep your eye out for those who look like they could use some extra love and flash them an unexpected smile, or better yet, offer them a little seasonal cheer.
