Summer wardrobe style

…And just when we think Spring is knocking, it snows. C’est la vie. So what’s a girl to do other than dream of her summer wardrobe and those days when tanned legs meet a good cocktail next to a big blue body of ocean? Shop! It’s never too early to start collecting those perfect pieces to wear while holidaying or BBQing this summer. Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite selections to hopefully inspire your summer closet and get us through these last few (hopefully) weeks of winter.

SUMMER WARDROBE STYLE

ONE | No holiday jaunt is complete without a big rimmed pair of sunnies. This year we’re taking a vaycay to Capri and there’s just no denying that these sunglasses belong in my beach bag for that trip.

TWO | Every makeup bag needs a new hue for every new season. This summer why not dare to try something slightly bolder than the norm? This NARS ‘Audacious’ lip in Catherine is the perfect place to start.

THREE | Give us everything tassel this summer. It’s such a fun addition to throw into your spring/summer wardrobe and turns beach wear into lunch attire in a snap.

FOUR | Stripes + fringe, equal the perfect duo. We’re heart eyes for these high-waisted shorts that can easily be paired with a variety of tops to create a classic summer look.

FIVE | We’re suckers for pom poms this season. This bardot white top is perfect to slip on over your swim wear or paired with your favourite pair of shorts. Snatch it while it’s on sale and add it to your summer wardrobe cycle stat.

SIX | Wedges are a must. The styling on this pair have Italy written all over them, don’t ya think?

SEVEN | Every beach goer needs the perfect hat. We’ve chosen a floppy over a fedora this season because Como is calling.

EIGHT | We think this mini croco satchel is a great seasonal choice. It’s big enough to fit all of your necessities yet not too big that it becomes a hassle to tote.

  • Same thing happened here in NYC. Although, I’m torn between loving this winter weather/snow and wanting spring to come… And any chance you can squeeze me into your suitcase when you head to Capri?! 😉
